With no existing Government Relations (GR) capability within the Corporate Affairs team, BOQ engaged us to build a best-practice GR function from the ground up—positioning the bank as a credible and influential voice in public policy.
Approach
Designed and implemented a comprehensive Government Relations strategy, aligned with industry best practices and tailored to BOQ’s strategic objectives.
Executed the GR strategy over a three-year period, embedding it into the organisation’s broader corporate affairs and stakeholder engagement framework.
Elevated the profile of the CEO and Executive team through targeted engagement with Federal and Queensland political leaders, including the Treasurer, Shadow Treasurer, and key Parliamentary Committee members.
Provided strategic counsel and training to executives in preparation for Parliamentary Inquiries and other government-facing forums.
